Memory Wood
Memory Wood. An artistic intervention by Vasco Maio on the facilities of JJTeixeira.
The wood has several scars that have been darkened by time. The rings inside are moulded by the climate. The very position of the tree branches carries a memory, the result of various external factors. Creating a metaphor with human memory and even muscle memory, the painting develops into volumetric walls that have a body and inhabit the factory space.
